Construction
As a supplier of structural steel and engineering support to the construction industry, we have carried out works on many iconic buildings including the 2012 Olympic Athlete Village, Wembley Stadium, Hampstead Theatre, London Underground, prestigious private residences and travelled to China to assess a client’s requirements.
We undertake hydraulic repairs, welding work and electrical repairs for several ground investigation companies.
We also fabricate metal gates, railings and bespoke items for the conservation and restoration of historic buildings, taking great care to age the steelwork to blend into its new surrounds.
We carry out onsite repairs throughout the southeast for international firms such as Land & Water, Lankelma, Countrystyle Group, Fugro and Fgs-agri, to ensure that their machinery keeps working.
We undertake special projects such as the building of hydraulic power packs and ram units used in the London Underground, including testing in a disused underground station.
We have recently helped Wembley Innovation Ltd renovate their new premises for manufacturing concrete blocks. This work consisted of the removal of 300 metres of old cladding supports and replacing them with new ones. The rebuilding and refurbishing of various conveyors, altering aggregate hoppers and feed out conveyors, servicing a large static motor mixer and fabricating and installing safety guards and servicing gearbox drives.
Our engineers are all CSCS approved.
Civil Engineering
We carried out the renovation of Ashford's old Cattle Market gate posts. The cast-iron gate posts were completely dismantled and sandblasted. The cracks were welded up. Reassembled and painted. New fixing support plates fitted.
The posts now resided at the new cinema complex in Ashford.
Marine
We undertake the servicing of tugs and welding of pontoons used in the Kent area for waterway drainage and reservoir work.
Refrigeration
We assisted in the installation of two large chiller units which involved the re-fitting and welding of 5” steel piping and valves assemblies and pressure testing of all welds and joints.
We dismantled and prepared two 7.5 ton chiller units and their components for inspection to ascertain their premature failure for a client at our workshop.
